| The desire to uphold these
convictions is what drives the FOOLS and brings Brother and Sister Firefighters
together as one. This great organization asks that you commit to uphold
these very important beliefs and that you pass them on to your department.
Let us not forget the firefighters that developed America's fire service,
as we know it today. Keep in your mind and heart the lost Brothers and
Sisters that have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. May
their ghost never return to ask us, "What have you done to my fire service?" We
owe it to all of the firefighters that have gone before us, but we owe
it to ourselves, our fellow firefighters, as well as our families, to be
the best firefighters we can be. Remember that the leather helmet is an
international sign of a firefighter. The leather is a sign of who
we are, not what we are. One does not need a leather helmet to join!
We do not represent any one fire department
and we are not a political organization.
We are here to train, meet the needs
of our communities, and first and foremost,
help our brothers in their time of
need. We also agree to the statement
that no firefighter should ever say
that their training let them down.
The So Cal FOOLS represent the brotherhood
of firefighters in Southern California. We
are a group of dedicated firefighters
who desire to bring back into the fire
service that which has been lost -
Tradition, Honor, Pride and Brotherhood.
We at the So Cal FOOLS support our brothers across the world 100%. We are
grateful to the Founding Fools for giving us this organization and opportunity
to share with our brothers the great pride and joy that it is to be a fireman!
No matter how bad things get, no matter how much the MUTTS try to get in
your way, this is still the GREATEST job on earth!
