Quick Quid Helps When You Come Up Short
I knew I had money coming in two weeks. I had sold my old car to a relative who needed it for travel to college and I knew he had money coming from his inheritance for school but could only draw checks every three months. When the car dealer called to say that my new car was in early I realized needed to come up with the rest of the down payment now.
I have good bank credit but I was already financing my car through them and couldn’t go there for a few hundred of quick quid to add to my cash down payment. My cousins money that was coming in two weeks was like a payday of sorts so why not look into a payday loan. On-line lenders offer unsecured loans based on employment and a bank account. I had both plus good creditworthiness at the credit bureau from previous loans at my bank.
I’m sure I could get some quick quid from one of them to hold me over for the two weeks. Well I borrowed what I needed and picked up the new car early. My cousin also came through early and I was able to pay the quick quid loan before the due date. I didn’t expect a refund on the interest amount but I didn’t read the fine print and this on-line lender only took what was due him for the length of time I had the money.
